Species: Goblin
Physical Characteristics:
Goblins can grow to anywhere from 2 inches to 6 foot tall. The Conspiracy Theorist's height is average for his clan - he is 4.5" tall sitted and would be around 7" standing.
Goblins have a somewhat bestial appearance with strong expressive facial features, thick coarse hair, strong muscular bodies and large hands and feet.
A goblin's ears are pointed and his mouth is filled with yellowed and crooked but sharp and healthy teeth. Goblins are intelligent and they like to think of themselves that they are wiser than humans.
Goblins can appear as animals.
They are sometimes invisible to human eye. Goblins possess a coarse raspy sounding and slightly high-pitched voice.
Habitat:
Goblins originated in France and spread rapidly all over world.
Their homes are simple - they live in caves, mossy clefts in rocks and roots of ancient trees, although they never stay very long in the same place.
A group of goblins is referred to as a horde.
Female goblins are referred to as "hags" or "crones".
Goblin babies are knowns as changelings, and sometimes referred as "oafs" or "crimbils".
Culture:
Goblins are playful and fun-loving creatures, although at times their practical jokes and tricks can be evil and seriously harm people.
Goblins pride themselves on their ability to curdle the blood with a smile and turn the milk sour with the laugh. Their stare causes fruit to fall from the trees.
They pester humans in a number of ways, such as hiding small objects, tipping over pails of milk and altering signposts.
Goblins can weave nightmares out of gossamer and insert them into the ear of a sleeping human.
They steal human women and children and hide them away underground.
Goblin women steal human babies, replacing them with the goblin babies (changelings).
Goblins are of the Unseelie Court, and are at war with fairies.
Goblins mimic human actions in their sardonic way, twisting human rituals and culture to show the worst aspects.
Goblins are often associated with fire, or have the ability to create said element.
Goblins like to borrow horses and ride them all night. If a horse is tired in the morning, it is said a goblin rode it. If a horse is panicking, the goblin is trying to mount it.
Goblins like to roam and cause mayhem during Halloween, along with a crowd of ghosts, witches, etc. It is the last day they can walk the surface before their caves are snowed in for the winter.
They sometimes eat humans.
Goblins love mushrooms, and utilize them for housing, recreation, and as food.
When speaking a human tongue, goblins refer to themselves in third person.
