Red Silk was created by Natasha Landerer (Red October) and is the 15th sculpture by this artist. You can find out more here, on my About Me Page.  A drawing by Andrew Loomis was an inspiration for this sculpture.

Red Silk is an authentic One Of A Kind (OOAK) Morezmore Art Doll, fully hand-sculpted without molds of any kind.

The base is signed and marked with Number 15. Certificate of Authenticity is included. 

Red Silk is wearing sweet little nothings which can magically disappear.

Everything you see on the picture is handmade by the artist and is included in the auction.

The Morezmore Key - the symbol of the artist's appreciation of buyers' support is included and can be found on the base. 

Material: Particular attention was paid to making the sculpture structurally sound and strong, as well as attractive. Red Silk can withstand normal human handling. Having said that, dropping on the floor is not advisable. She is made from Kato polymer clay over the Morezmore "Brick House" Armature - a strong epoxy-fortified 14 gauge + 24 gauge steel wire construction. Her hands and fingers are armatured as well, all the way to the fingertips. Red October is standing with the help of a brass tube and a rod and she is removable from her base. 

The sculpt was fired following the manufacturer's temperature and time recommendations. She is 8" tall.
