Hatshepsut was created by a well known by her friends and family artist Natasha Landerer (Red October) and is the 11th sculpture by this artist. You can see the first few art dolls here, on the Morezmore OOAK Studio website. You can subscribe to the mailing list on the bottom of the home page. Red October sends an email whenever the page gets updated (about once a week), when a new sculpt is completed and available. The email addresses are only used for this purpose.
Hatshepsut an authentic One Of A Kind (OOAK) Morezmore Art Doll, fully hand-sculpted without molds of any kind. The base is signed and marked with Number 11. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Hatshepsut is made from ProSculpt polymer clay over the Morezmore "Brick House" Armature - a strong epoxy-fortified 16 gauge + 22 gauge steel wire construction. He hands and fingers are armatured as well, all the way to the fingertips. The sculpt was fired following the manufacturer's temperature and time recommendations and an oven thermometer was used to monitor the temperature. Total number of firings – 4 times.
Hatshepsut's crown is 18K white and yellow gold chain decorated with a real garnet and microbeads. Same kind of garnets are on her necklace. Her foot rest is 14K gold. Hatshepsut's braids are made of natural silk and have the easy flowing silky feel. Her sandals are made of paper thin eel skin leather and decorated with silk cord and microbeads. Her throne is made of Prosculpt over wood / wire / epoxy armature.
