Casanova - Masquerade Night sculture was created by Natasha Landerer (Red October) and is the 13th sculpture by this artist. You can find out more here, on my About Me Page. An art photograph by french artists Pierre and Gilles was an inspiration for this sculpture.
Casanova is an authentic One Of A Kind (OOAK) Morezmore Art Doll, fully hand-sculpted without molds of any kind. The base is signed and marked with Number 13. Certificate of Authenticity is included. He is wearing a sheet which is removable for cleaning.
The Morezmore Key - the symbol of artist's appreciation of buyers' support is included and can be found on the base. I am also including a second - smaller - stand that you can see on the photos. He is standing with the help of two rods and he is removable from his base. Casanova's feather mask, his wig and a fresh set of candles are also included. Candles are for decoration only, please note that the materials used in creation of this sculpt are highly flammable!
Material: Particular attention was paid to making the sculpture structurally sound and strong, as well as attractive. He can withstand normal human handling. Having said that, dropping on the floor is not advisable.
Casanova is made from Kato polymer clay over the Morezmore "Brick House" Armature - a strong epoxy-fortified 16 gauge + 32 gauge steel wire construction. He hands and fingers are armatured as well, all the way to the fingertips. The sculpt was fired following the manufacturer's temperature and time recommendations.
